“Glass Solutions did an amazing job with an incredibly complicated portion of the façade of Solstice on the Park. With Andy Hill and Brian Hillen taking the lead long before construction documents were created, the team worked from early on in Design Development to assist the Architect in determining the right way to handle some of the critical details of the sloped glazing and the transitions between the sloped and the vertical glass. The collaboration between WJ Higgins, Glass Solutions and Studio Gang Architects helped create the signature aesthetic that the designers intended without compromising the constructability or the budget. GSI also worked in concert with Adjustable Forms, the Concrete Subcontractor, during construction to ensure that embeds were located where they needed to be within the slabs so that the erection of the unitized curtain wall would be efficient. The field crew did a great job from beginning to end, and Brian Lockhart was an integral part of the reason it went so smoothly. I can honestly say that the project would not have been as successful without the contributions made by Glass Solutions.”
